All mail clients that I have used, support AND & OR matching for multiple rules per filter. And .g. Thunderbird has separate "To" "To or CC" and "To, CC or Bcc" rules. Doesn't yours?
As I've already pointed out, I want the emails to be sorted by my provider's mail server; not by the multiple mail clients I use on different devices. I can check whether the provider's "To" rule implicitly also covers "Cc", even though the documentation states otherwise.
However, I'm sure I'm not the only one who uses "[hatari-devel]" either as a filter rule or to visually discern mailing list emails. Imo, Thomas should poll a meaningful number of people before making breaking changes to the list.
If some people in the mail thread are missing subset of the mails, discussion can get rather confusing (as was already the case). I.e. not fixing this, is at least indirectly broken for everybody already...
Well, and if by "fixing" this I cannot sort the emails anymore, it is directly broken for me. (And I'll cease participation and unsubscribe.)
