But yes, for people who don't have the possibility to filter on arbitrary headers, this is indeed bad, so I re-enabled the prefix again 'til we've got a final decision whether it's ok to remove the prefix or not.By the way, many other lists that I'm subscribed to got rid of the prefix for exactly the same reason, too, see e.g.: https://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/qemu-devel/2019-09/msg00416.html So unless there's someone on this list who really depends on the prefix for filtering (since they cannot use "List-ID"), I'd recommend that we disable the prefix for the Hatari mailing lists, too.
hion my side I would also vote to keep [hatari-devel] in the subject, even if my filter rules are based on the list name in the mail's header I find it more convenient to also have the prefix when reading my mails from another device/client (I does my filtering client side on my pc but I sometimes does a quick check from my mobile phone and I don't feel like replicating all my filtering rules just for that)
As for fixing the problem in a DKIM/DMARC compliant way , it seems the mailing list should use the ARC system to do a chain of signatures, unfortunately it's quite unlikely that this will be done on tuxfamily's mailing list, given the state of tuxfamily as we know it :(
