And compiles on Debian 13 (trixie), the soon-to-be-released next
version of Debian Linux.

I followed the instructions in the readme.txt file. (!) All went well.

Libraries summary :
-------------------

  - sdl :	using SDL2 2.32.4
  - readline :	found, enables history/completion in the debugger
  - zlib :	found, allows to use zip/gz files directly
  - png :	found, allows to compress screenshot/avi files using png
  - portmidi :	not found, install it for MIDI support on Windows / OSX
  - capsimage :	v5 not found, install it to use .IPF, .RAW and .CTR disk images
  - python Gtk:	found, python-ui can be used
  - udev :	found, required for media change detection in NatFeats SCSI
          	devices on udev-based systems (Linux)
  - capstone :	not found, install it to use extend disassembly options
  - LFS :	Large File Support is available (size of off_t = 8),
AVI recording and HD image files can be bigger than 2 GB

The installed version even picked up my customizations.

One nitpick: I did not find emutos.img in the tarball. I used
hatari-v2.6.0.tar.bz2. I pulled it in from the emutos Sourceforge site,
so no worries.

Preliminary testing of the applications I use the most went well.

Good show; thank you all.
