Nicolas,
I completely understand. You do not even run macOS, if I remember
correctly. Therefore, there would be no reason for you to be interested
in an official Apple developer account. There are two other retro
computer emulators (VirtualC64 and VAmiga) that have the exact same
issue as Hatari. I am sure the developer of those applications does not
want to pay for an official developer account simply to publish a hobby
project.
Anders,
I assume you copied the snapshot version of Hatari over the current
version that you were running. When I upgrade VirtualC64 or VAmiga using
MacUpdater, I do not get that message either. I copied Hatari to another
directory entirely so the Mac would see the program as well. That way,
if there was any problem with the snapshot that Nicolas linked to, my
existing Hatari would still run normally.
Anyway, I am glad that the macOS version of Hatari is still running
normally so it will be ready for the release of 2.6.
about the automated build, the idea is to see whether it can be used as
the "official" Hatari 2.6 binary release (which seems to be the case) or
if I should build it myself using a VM I already have but that I didn't
use for a long time and I'm not sure the resulting binary is still OK.
This will save me time if I can use the cirrus-ci.com build.
