Hi,
After upgrading to KDE 6 and Wayland (with Gentoo Linux you have to do both
updates in the same step) there is a new mouse pointer problem. I guess it's
related to Wayland, not to KDE 6.
As far as I can tell Thomas' mouse pointer patch, which has worked fine for
X11, is not needed/does not work with Wayland. With Wayland the situation is
similar to how it was with X11 without the patch.
With Wayland, when you leave the Atari window and move the mouse pointer
to the right, after re-entering the window the GEM mouse pointer jumps to the
right, which I assume are the re-played mouse motion events.
Looks to me as if either this patch should be optional, so that you can
enable it when you use X11. Or, even better, Hatari should detect
automatically whether X11 or Wayland are active and act accordingly. I
guess detecting this is possible somehow.
