Yes, it hardly needed any code. After using Hatari for some time with this
fix I can still confirm that it is working really well. It's not perfect,
because there are still rare situations where the pointer is out of sync.
But I don't know yet how to reproduce this, it hardly ever happens.

If somebody provides a patch, even if it is initially just something quick
and dirty suitable for testing, I can test this with my setup.
