the error you get is when reading fffa11 register in MFP, but there was 
no change to MFP code in this latest commit.
what machine are you running (falcon maybe ?)

can you try at least with STF/STE mode to see if it fails too ?

do you run any additional software in your test (drivers or others) than 
just plain tos ?
