ok, but I don't think any program really expects timer D ctrl reg to be 1 at boot and would start a timer d by only setting data reg and keeping the value of 1 in ctrl reg which is set more or less by luck when tos does a few timer checks at boot.
IMO that's not something you really want to duplicate in emutos Nicolas
