do you have the "Boot faster by patching TOS" option enabled or not? Does it make a difference if you switch it?

With a bootable ACSI drive image and no other drive attached Hatari does
not boot from the ACSI drive when I am running TOS 3.06 in TT mode.
As soon as I switch to TOS 2.06 and ST mode without changing any other
settings I can boot from the same drive image.
Looks like a problem in the boot code to me.
