On my most recent version of Hatari (a development version from
March), there doesn't seem to be any way to set the DIP switches. Are
there any plans to support DIP switch setting in the future?

Can you provide a list of features these DIP switches control, or point to
documentation on that?

That link seems to be TT-only, but Roger mentions also Falcon,
are they the switches same for Falcon:

You should only have #7 on, the rest should be off normally. If you have a 720kb floppy, its worth upgrading to a 1.4mb HD floppy. You also need to update the AJAX chip in order to do that.

The bank of dip switches is located under the hard drive bay near the front corner.

1 off (on = CaTTamaran installed)
2 off
3 off
4 off
5 off
6 off
7 on = 1.4mb HD floppy drive fitted
8 off (on = Disables the DMA sound hardware)
Note: 1-6 are actually undocumented. The dip switch settings are copied to the '_SWI' cookie by the OS when the machine boots. Thus its possible for software to determine the dip switch settings.
