I prefer using SDL frameworks. You can donwload them at
https://www.libsdl.org/.
Depend on wich system you are using. For an old G4 under 10.4.11, SDL
1.2.14. For a G4/G5 or Intel under 10.5 and up, you can download SDL 1.2.15.
If you want to try SDL 2 (10.9/10.11), the better is to download always
the latest source of SDL 2.0 and build the framework yourself (use the
provided XCode projetc, nothing to do). It will be far faster than SDL
1.2, with some not important bugs.
