I used a readline Framework I found on the net, wich was not built with the stuff needed to be embedded.
Here is a new try, only oldcpu for the moment, let me know.

Jerome,
I understand completely. I never trust my embedded frameworks. That is why I always move the frameworks to my Desktop so they are not found in the default path. That way, if Hatari starts up, I know that I have embedded the frameworks correctly.
I look forward to the next build. Thank you for all of your hard work on this.
Based on your email, does this mean Hatari will run on 10.4? I thought 10.5 PPC was the earliest version where your Universal Binary would run.

These Frameworks relative path are pain in the ass. I always forgot to change a little bit somewhere between ppc 10.4 and 10.6+ MacOsX... I will rebuild the things.

Jerome,
I would also like to thank you for the new builds. However, I am seeing the same errors as Anders. I see where the different frameworks are included in the XCode build. However, they do not appear to be referenced.
If I copy your frameworks to my ~/Library/Frameworks directory, then I can get Hatari to start up.

I took time to make a new build (a lot of new build, in fact): here they are:

I appreciate very much that you work on the OS X version of Hatari. However your builds doesn't seem to work.
If I start Hatari from commandline, I get this error:
ae$ ./Hatari -c /Users/ae/.hatari/ste_oldskool_416x288.cfg
dyld: Library not loaded: /Users/jeromevernet/Library/Frameworks/Readline.framework/Versions/A/Readline

It looks like readline framework is referenced with a hard-coded path to your home directory.
If I start Hatari.app or Hatari Winuae.app from the desktop, I get an immediate crash, again seems to be readline that is the issue, error output:
