Hi,
your mail-client seems to mess-up quotations (it is deleting all '>' at
the line beginnings) That makes it a bit hard to read.
There is the possibility to modify SparseMatrix locally by defining the
macro EIGEN_SPARSEMATRIX_PLUGIN
The mechanism is documented here for MatrixBase:

But, as we both said, we think it is generally not a good idea to change
the ABI of core Eigen types.
