How about "Génie Bubo", as a play on words to coincide with

   * the owls scholarly look
   * the genus "bubo" ( horned owls, of which this is one)
   * the magical connotation of "Genie", (as in Alladin)

If I am using babelfish and wiktionary right, the phrase "Génie Bubo", 
translates as "Genius Child".  I think a French name is fitting 
considering the roots of the project.
