arf, that's what I didn't know.... a vectorized maxCoeff would be very nice as 
that's quite a common operation. such a 'ei_predux' analogue would allow to 
vectorize redux in these cases... nice.

I don't commit my vectorized sum for now... anyway i'm not yet to the point 
where unit-tests compile.
