Sure, those who can will uninstall PA. But I think Ubuntu also brings
in some people who aren't techy enough to do that.
I think Allegro should work on Ubuntu LTS and latest Ubuntu. Just to
be on the safe side.
The next LTS seems to be scheduled at Ubuntu 10.4 Lucid Lynx.
