No, there never was such a file :) All we have is the auto-suggest.
Way back my idea was to use a server side full-text search when using
the search button - but never got it done. I guess it would be easy to
make pressing the search button go to the closest auto-suggest word -
I'll try doing that instead of full-text search if nobody beats me to
it.
