Summary: Bug with text outputs

Initial Comment:
I have noticed that the text ouput is slowing a little my game, making it use more and more CPU time.
I made a test with ex_ttf.c and the same thing happens.

There is a thread here on Allegro.cc that discusses it:

http://www.allegro.cc/forums/thread/599845

Thank you :)

Message:
I uploaded the files. The bitmap file can be any bitmap, you can use any
width and height.

Message:
I'm Bruno's brother,

I'm under Windows. I tested it with OpenGL and it stills use too much CPU.
I will try to explain better this bug with 2 examples that my brother will
attach here:

The first example is a loop where a bitmap (relative big bitmap) is drawn
on the screen. The CPU usage for this program is around 2%.

The second example is a loop where a text is drawn on the screen. The CPU
usage for this program is around 40%!

Text routines are using too much CPU and making the program run slowly.

I hope this explain better the bug :)

Message:
Can't reproduce. Which platform are you using? If Windows, did you try with
the OpenGL instead of DirectX driver, and does it fix the problem?
