Incorrect. I had it in the vfs (at the time) or fshook (later on) branch. When 
I asked for feed back many times through out the design and implementation 
stages, I explicitly said where to find the code.

Then as I figured it was good enough, I merged it, obviously it wasn't good 
enough to merge.
