Mainly for Paul,

If you crank up the thickness on ex_prim, the spline in the "High Level
Primitives" section starts looking weird.  With thickness > 75 you start
to see artefacts, but before that the inside of the spline seems to turn
too sharply.

Anyway, it's not urgent.
