A friend of mine was playing with allegro and found that it couldnt load
this wav
http://www.ccs.neu.edu/~workmin/bananaphone.wav
Its the banana phone song, but anyway I re-exported it to another wav
file using audacity and allegro could load that. Anyone know why?
$ file bananaphone.wav
bananaphone.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, IMA ADPCM, mono
16000 Hz
after audacity:
$ file banana.wav
banana.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16
bit, mono 16000 Hz
