- Hire a specialist to port Allegro to Windows Mobile operating system and
possibly some of the more common cellphone platforms. Mobile gaming could
really be a great platform for Allegro and it appears mobile gaming is
really starting to heat up for the upcoming years. Being able to develop a
game that works on all the regular computer platforms( Linux, Windows and
Mac) in addition to mobile platforms would be a real advantage for Allegro.
That might be a good idea.
- Hire a specialist to implement native 2D hardware acceleration into Mac
and Linux Allegro.
That basically comes down to getting the OpenGL driver to work. I
don't know about MacOS X, but generally in UNIX there is no other way.
- Is Allegro working on the Intel Mac platform yet?
I *think* so, according to the last report I heard, but someone else
will know for sure. Anyway, I don't think this is big enough to hire
someone for.
