Can we put the SVN tree in feature freeze? At least to the point where no 
patches are commited that are not direct simple bugfixes without 
discussion first?
There were still some problems I had in compiling 4.2.1 from SVN (in Linux 
and MacOS X, both having to do with dependency generation) which I should 
get round to looking into over the weekend.
