Yes, I don't think it would be a good idea in light of binary compatibility
to change datastructures, at least for 4.2. That's probably ok if you tag
it along at the end, but I'd rather not just the same...
It's, of course, fine for 4.3 (but that's a bit of a different beast
anyway).
