I don't have the full version of VC 2005, but I know some on
allegro.cc do. Can we have someone else confirm that this is really a
problem?
Allegro can be built on VC 2005 Express*, so I don't see why it
wouldn't work on the full version. Is the original poster using
anything outside the norm, like a special shell, etc?
[* I use VC 2005 Express to "make all" with and without static
versions. I'm assuming he's getting the error when doing a normal
'make'.]
As far as I know all versions of MSVC use either /option or -option.
The help files all show the slash version.
