[AD] Howto build 4.3?

I just downloaded 4.3 from the svn repository and tried to install it 
the usual way..

autoconf
./fix.sh unix
./configure --disable-asm
make

But got an error:

make: *** No rule to make target `lib/unix/liballeg-4.3.0.so', needed by 
`lib'.  Stop.

Did I do something stupid? Has anyone gotten 4.3 to compile with the 
current Make system in place?
