Hello,
I've should write more details.
Just demonstrating my ignorance - what is a .manifest file?
It's some form of metadata for executable files. It is often used e.g.
for enabling theming for applications.
My problem is that MSVC 8 compiled applications without MSVC generated
manifest immediately crash when run.
Maybe I'm doing something bad, maybe there is some option for this, I
don't know.
I couldn't see that it would hurt, so I've commited it.
OK, I think that it should be safe.
