Yes, that sounds like a good idea. It would mean adding a "destroy"
method to the bitmap vtable, and for screen, set it to one that resets
the gfx mode. Not a trivial change probably (also need to restructure
set_gfx_mode again).. but should put it to the wishlist of 4.3.x, I
guess.
