is there a method for discovering the library optimzation level at runtime.
for instance, at runtime, i would like to be able to query allegro to
find out if it was built for P3,P4,64bit,MMX,SSE etc.
its probably not something that can be done cross-platform without
becoming so generic that it is useless.
if a bunch of definitions are made to wrap the relavent compiler
settings that could be compiled into the source to be queried at runtime.
i'd like to hear from everyone about this before i bother writing code
for it.
