Re: [AD] allegro stripping

My understanding of it is stripping takes all the symbols out, making the program smaller but nearly impossible to debug it. Im not sure if there are any speed-up improvements so it would only save space which is probably trivial in the setups of today's users. If the user really wants to strip the library, they can do $ strip liballeg.so.

   hello,
is here anybody who understands gcc stripping? i just want to ask if the allegro dll and liballeg.a shouldn't be stripped with --strip-unneeded? It can save some space.
