You may want to talk to Chris about sound under Windows, he's been working
on that lately.

The build system is somewhat fragile and there may be some improvements
there too. Others may already be looking into that though.
I also just posted a list of some other things that need doing, you may
want to have a look at those too. And chances are you're going to find new
things as you go. :)
