7-zip is hardly widespread (yet), and there isn't even a native Linux tool for
extracting .7z files. Please don't use obscure formats like that.
Why don't you attach the raw image? Make it a .png or .gif file; these are
losslessly compressed already, so you won't need to zip them.
The Allegro docs also say not to post to the [AD] list unless you are sure
what you have found is a bug. For the sake of coherence, we may as well
continue this thread here, though - unless someone objects.
