I got much of Allegro to build with Open Watcom 1.0. The main problem was
the assembly code. I manage to get a binary DLL produced, and simple
programs (eg, that use allegro_message, MIDI routines, etc) work, but
various things did not. See my message "Windows version of Allegro and Open
Watcom 1.0" posted on the 6th March 2003.
