Yes, it's the first thing I thought when I read your patch. ^W for new
file makes about as much sense as ^N or ^W for rename, so you might as
well have ^N be new, and give ^W or any different shortcut to
rename. For me, you could even leave out the rename shortcut, but I
have no clue how many people use that. I do know that I would
instinctively hit ^N for new file, as that is a very common shortcut.
