i would like to use the interupt timers at greater than 1 millisecond per tick.

i know the allegro API limits my ability to set it to faster than 1ms, so iwould like to hack the /allegro/src to be able to get greater than 1ms.

which func() or /allegro/src file[s]  should i be hacking ?
