[AD] Adding the readme file to the main manual

Hi.

This patch creates a new readme._tx file with readme's content so it
can be included in the main manual, and be generated in other formats
as well. I also modified slightly the text, added the new mailing list
and changed a few lines.  Due to filename duplication you can't create
a rule for ./readme.txt unless you like seeing annoying warnings during
build time.  Build system tested only under linux.
