Some of you are probably already aware that the new "save_sample" function
conflicts with JGMOD. This means obviously JGMOD no longer works with
Allegro, unless you rename the function.
Is anything going to be done about it? I don't think functions should get
the "al_" prefix in Allegro 4, as "save_sample" is the best fit for the
function now. (It could be change to "write_sample", or whatever).Given
JGMOD's popularity, I'm not sure if its a good idea to keep the name
collision.
I don't use JGMOD myself, so it's of no direct concern of mine, but I can
imagine the flood of complaints as people start upgrading to the latest
Allegro.
