[AD] About the 4.1.x series

I would like to set a tentative release date for the first incarnation of
the 4.1.x series. Following our numbering scheme, the releases in this
series will be considered as WIP releases.

Here are the new things which I think should be present in this release
(with their current state):
- Windows: internal thread management optimization (done),
- Windows: DirectInput joystick driver (done),
- Windows: support for native windows (experimental),
- support for Darwin/MacOS X (mostly done),
- QNX video bitmaps/hw-acceleration support (very experimental),
- ALSA 0.9.x support ? (?),
- synchronization API (not yet implemented),
- grabber enhancements (ongoing),

Are there other things I have missed ? Of course, that's more a wishlist
than a "must-have" list and any feature can be delayed until a subsequent
4.1.x release. Therefore I propose June, 10 as the release date for the
4.1.0 WIP version.

P.S: We could also decide at that time whether we release a 4.0.2 version
from the 4.0.x branch. Currently only three fixes have been commited on the
branch (including a very funny one by Peter ;-)
