Dunno if this is of any help anymore, since you said it's already fixed,
but I tested the BeOS 4.0.1 beta yesterday to find out it didn't compile
due to a small bug in the makefile... I sent a patch to fix this to AD
yesterday from BeOS itself, but it seems like the mail never arrived
(!), so I'm attaching it here again.
Once the patch is applied the library compiles and fully works out of
the box.
