ehm, *cough* 5.0 *cough*
well it isn't very clear who thinks it should be 5.0 and who thinks it
should be 5.0, but keep in mind that prefixing will break compatibility,
so that *is* a major change.
but there is going to other major changes that will break compatibility
immediatly after the prefixed version, and is ridiculous thinking of
releasing a 5.0 and after a month a 6.0 so IMO i think the possibility
are only 2:
prefixed version new version (8 bit palette etc...)
1) 5.0 5.2
2) 4.9 5.0
^^^ 4.9 means that is something big different from 4.0, something
like a wip, so that's ok even if there is a major change
*ANYWAY* it will have to be explained VERY BIG that the very first prefixed
version will loose compatibility soon.
