Gosh ! ;-) All the complexity in the Windows port comes precisely from
hiding the message-driven nature of the OS. I think we'd better use a
slot/callback design.


Can we also get timestamps on events? We implemented such a scheme in SUUTB, so that the input module would catch as many events as possible, without losing keys, ignoring user input, or making the game too slow to run.
Also, you have to poll the joystick anyway :)
