To my horror, I have found that the 3.9.37 package on sourceforge (and on
Allegro.cc) has an incorrect version of Allegro (or so it would seem...)

The version number is clearly incorrect (CVS vs WIP), and the date doesn't
correspond to the one on SF. I don't know if the date thing is a problem or not.
