Blitting (in software) from a video bitmap to a memory bitmap on a platform
where video bitmaps need some sort of an 'unlocking' operation after being
accessed (is Windows/DirectX the only one ?).
Ultimately, the code posted by Aapo Haapanen on [AL] dated 08/03.
