I've noticed that if you try to run "make compress", make complains that UPX
isn't set in the environment. I set it, and it runs upx. But upx complains
that UPX doesn't contain valid switches. It seems like a bug to me, but
maybe I should have posted to [AL] first. If so, sorry.
