Attached is a patch that modifies the locking/unlocking mechanism so as to
ensure that all the DirectX surfaces are properly released when the program
is switched out. I hope this will get rid of the artifacts Paul Pridham
reported he had sometimes found when ALT-TABing.

Thanks to Javier, it has been tested under heavy load and on a fast CPU, so
it should be deadlocks safe.
