This patch should correct the inefficiency of seeking for a suitable video
mode. Allegro will now query the video card driver as to whether the
requested mode (width, height and color depth) is supported or not.
However, the result may be wrong if the requested color depth is 16bpp and
the card only supports 15bpp (like mine); in this case, Allegro keeps
switching.
