[AD] Push for 4.0 beta? |

Hi, Following Shawn Hargreaves' comments about releasing new versions of the library, does everyone think that releasing a new beta version soon would be a good idea? Basically, we should assess the status for each compiler/platform combination (so DJGPP is very stable, Mac support is newly introduced, etc.) and report this along with our beta release. About the only other thing needed for a beta release is just updating the dependencies. When we have fixed any reported major bugs, and solidified support for Mac, etc., then we should release 4.0 final. What does everyone think? Bye for now, -- Laurence Withers, lwithers@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.lwithers.demon.co.uk/
