this problem is because i removed optimalizations from the debug build. but
that is a good thing. it's better to fix problems properly than creating
workarounds. your patch is now in cvs.
since i'm already writing a mail i might as well mention that i found some docs
from intel on MTRRs, so i'm going to start hacking on allegro tonight. woho! ;o)
