Please try it with a more recent chrony version. 3.4 is 5 years old. I
don't remember anything specific, but it's possible there is a bug
impacting the orphan mode.
If that doesn't solve the problem, please post the chronyc selectdata
output from both servers and a part of the debug log showing the
measurement and source selection. chronyd needs to be built with the
--enable-debug option and started with two -d options.
