Here is what I get as header for the mail you sent to this mailing list.
From: Rob Janssen <chrony-users@xxxxxxxxx>
Reply-To: chrony-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
To: chrony-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Now if you have a decent mailer, it is supposed to first grab the Reply-To:
address when you reply, not the From:
It may ask you whether that is what you want to have happen.
This is the standard behaviour. If your mailer does not use the "Reply-To"
rather than the From, it is you mailers problem, not the list's problem. The
list behaves as it should.

Well, a lot of users are probably missing messages because this mailing list is BROKEN.
It sends mail spoofing the original sender's address instead of using a list address as the From address.
Hence, all mail sent from DMARC protected addresses is filtered by many mail receivers.
Apparently the operators of the mailinglist don't want to fix it, so it could be a good idea to jump ship
and move on to a mailinglist that is configured more reasonably.
